Does the thermos stay closed?
Yes. The lid twists shut and locks in place. Kids can open it themselves at lunch and it won't pop open on its own inside the bag.
How long does food actually stay warm?
The double wall stainless steel container keeps food warm for up to 5 hours. Soup, pasta, rice, anything you pack hot in the morning will still be warm by lunch.
Will food leak between compartments?
No. The insulated container has its own leakproof seal so liquid stays fully contained inside it. The other compartments are completely separate.
Is the box too heavy for kids to carry?
Oki Munch weighs 1.7 lbs fully empty, which is lighter than most water bottles kids already carry. It fits in any standard school backpack without adding bulk.
How durable is it long-term?
